Campaign Demon is a unique new workflow solution developed by Signpost and Eurosoft Systems Ltd (ESL), and available to customers as a managed online service.
Based on ESL’s EventMan product, Campaign Demon is a web-based tool, which manages the different stages of a sales, marketing or retail campaign from start to finish. This includes handling the initial customer leads, monitoring the progress of the campaign and reviewing and initiating actions as and when they need to be carried out. It provides a linked ‘call to action’ function, so that callers can ring in for information or to place an order. Campaign Demon also works seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook and other popular applications.
Because Campaign Demon offers open-ended reporting and management tools and generates automatic archives to create easily accessible audit trails it is ideal for companies whose work involves detailed approval processes or close liaison with partners, suppliers or customers.
As an online service, the client simply pays a monthly subscription to Campaign Demon which is then delivered and managed over the Internet. This ASP-type solution can be freely accessed and controlled by the client, who can input information and pre-defined workflows, and select from a full range of features as and when they are needed. The client can also set up communities of users, so that in addition to staff in the office, they can make the features of Campaign Demon securely accessible to remote or external users, such as suppliers, agencies and clients.
The benefit of this is that companies who use various suppliers for one project, such as a marketing department using PR, advertising and media buying agencies, can keep a detailed record of every stage of a campaign and allow each agency to input their own information to the project simultaneously by accessing Campaign Demon online. Similarly, sales organisations could use Campaign Demon to plan and schedule a sales campaign, and then use a call scripting card module from within Campaign Demon to control, support and record the results of the follow up calls.
Other online services offered by Campaign Demon include online ordering and the facility to handle payment transactions; order fulfilment functions such as the ability to send an order to the
warehouse or store, and in return receive an acknowledgement; and the ability to create and send a product delivery note by email.
Campaign Demon features a new interface designed to provide the client with a clean, user-friendly front end.
